Synopsis Shot by London Weekend Television in 1983, this film takes an in-depth look at American Ballet Theatre's then-artistic director, Mikhail Baryshnikov, and other company members. The focus is on the painstaking preparation for, and performance of, a new ballet choreographed by Choo San Goh for ABT's upcoming season. The video includes footage of ballerina Marianna Tcherkassky rehearsing, as well as interviews with dancer Antoinette Sibley, of England's Royal Ballet, and pianist John Browning.
