Colin Hay, singer of Men at Work, has never rested on his laurels, putting out classic-sounding pop albums as a solo artist since the 1985 break-up of his famous former band. This 2007 release showcases Hay's catchy tunesmithery, rich acoustic arrangements, and unpretentious, Scottish-Australian-accented voice. The album opens with the tough, talking-blues title track, which bursts into soulful choruses and sets the tone for the honest and engaging songs to come.
