Bringing a fresh energy to classic tunes like "Nine Pound Hammer" and "Sally Goodin," the band is full of folksy locomotion, but the end was just around the corner, as guitar hero Clarence White was soon to depart (he'd later join the Byrds), effectively ending the band's career until their mid-'70s reunion.
Industry Reviews 4 stars out of 5 - [F]lat-picking nirvana.
[T]he overall feeling is not of climbing musical mountains but of coasting along in neutral, enjoying the sights and sounds.
