Movie Description This family comedy based on a short story by Chris Crutcher follows the exploits of a high school geek whose enemy gets him elected as King of the Winter Ball. Now he's got to decide between being embarrassed at the dance or finishing his coveted science project--with a little help from his friends.
Synopsis High schooler Angus is an overweight outcast, with a serious lack of self-esteem. Furthermore, he's had a crush on the lovely Melissa for ages, but she's attached to handsome jock Rick, who hates Angus. But when Rick plays a cruel joke on Angus at the prom, it unintentionally embarrasses Melissa as well, so she leaves him. Can the corpulent Angus beat the odds and win Melissa's heart?
