General Douglas MacArthur is remembered today as one of America's most successful generals and most decorated war heroes. While his leadership in the Phillipines, South Korea, and Japan is what most remember of his legacy, MacArthur also found himself ousted from the military by President Harry Truman for policy disagreements in Korea.
