Details

Synopsis Scarred by her parents' divorce, tired of a life spent in pursuit of academic excellence, insomniac Auden finds herself in an unfamiliar world when she spends the summer with her father and his new family. Working with regular teen girls at a clothing store during the day, and roaming the town at night, she meets Eli, another loner with secrets. The two become friends and slowly begin to share adventures together over late night coffee and pie. Slowly, Auden begins to unthaw and reach out to others after a long time alone with her pain. Much like Sarah Dessen's other characters, Auden is sure to be recognizable and relatable to teens.
