Synopsis This romantic science fantasy is the third book in the Samaria series. It is rumored that nearly 100 years ago, the angel Alleluia discovered something astonishing: Jovah, the god who carried the original settlers of the planet Samaria to their current home, and who currently responds to the angels' prayers, is actually a spaceship orbiting Samaria. The Jacobites, a group which subscribes to this heretical worldview, are being vigorously suppressed by the autocratic Archangel Bael. His efforts inadvertently bring together Tamar, a Jacobite on the run; Jared, a somewhat feckless angel who has unaccountably fallen in love with Tamar; and Lucinda, an angel raised on an isolated island, an unlikely coalition which just may bring about the very thing that Bael fears.
