Movie Description
ALL THE VERMEERS IN NEW YORK is a cinematic essay on the complicated dynamic between art and commerce. Anna dreams of becoming an actress, so she leaves her native France for New York City to make her wishes a reality. She shares an apartment with her friend Felicity. One day, Anna visits a museum and marvels at the paintings of the 17th century Dutch artist Jan Vermeer. At the exhibit, Anna meets Mark, a frazzled Wall Street executive. Though Anna and Mark do not yet know it, their encounter begins what will be a fortuitous relationship for both.
