Album Notes Personnel: Young Bleed, Master P., Lucky Knuckles, Lee Tyme, Maxminelli, Mystikal, Fiend, C-Loc, Laylow (rap vocals). Producers include: N. (Happy) Perez, Pimp C, KLC, Mo B. Dick, Craig B. Southside is the territory, and the No Limit label has it locked. With his debut release ALL I HAVE IN THIS WORLD, ARE MY BALLS AND MY WORD, Young Bleed sets out to prove that he is an integral part of the No Limit family. With the label's high profile and a little help from labelmate/owner Master P, Young Bleed uses his circumstances to his advantage and kicks raw street ethics to bring his brand of gangsta rap to the mainstream. The production is haunting and evocative, probably the most suitable for this type of lyrical content. It stands in sharp contrast to the sample-heavy beats of most contemporary hip-hop. And instead of employing a gaggle of media-drenched production heavyweights, Young Bleed keeps it in the family, with only one producer (Happy) responsible for the majority of the album.
Industry Reviews 4 (out of 5) - ...With the music and sound effects of MY BALLS AND MY WORD having the chilling feel of swampy mysticism, this may be Bleed's crippling potion for doomed intruders everywhere. Rap Pages (04/01/1998)
...Bleed is an MC who raps in a heavy thick drawl of the Bayou....The production found here is a top notch concoction of trunk-rattling beats, slinky basslines, swirling keyboards and eerie strings... The Source (03/01/1998)
