Synopsis Alice is about to embark on another fantastic journey. She's going to shrink again, to the size of a nuclear particle and enter Quantumland, a sort of intellectual amusement park smaller than an atom, where every ride, game, and attraction demonstrates a different aspect of quantum mechanics. She encounters some very strange experiences, at one point going backward in time and running into herself. The author uses the allegory of Alice's escapades to make the basic principles of quantum mechanics clear and accessible, even exciting.
