Sitcom regulars Thomas Cavanagh (ED) and Sarah Chalke (SCRUBS) leap to the big screen in writer/director Evan Oppenheimer's indie romantic comedy ALCHEMY. Cavanagh stars as kooky science professor Malcolm Downey, who hopes to earn tenure with his latest invention: a computer that can register human emotions. In order to test the contraption, Malcolm devises a contest to see whether a real woman could actually fall in love with the computer. It isn't long before Malcolm finds himself falling for his beautiful test subject, Samantha (Chalke), triggering an unusual love triangle between man, woman...and machine.
