In this sequel to the well-received AIRPORT, a small private plane crashes into a 747 in flight. Most of the crew is destroyed by the crash, but one flight attendant steps up to act as a pilot. Can she safely land the plane before an even greater disaster occurs? Like its predecessor, this film features an impressive list of stars, and earned its place in the catastrophe-film genre.
