Movie Description
AGNES BROWNE tells the touching story of a recently widowed mother of seven in 1967 Dublin who struggles to provide for her children. In order to pay the bills, she borrows money from a vicious loan shark, an action that comes back to haunt her. In the meantime, she daydreams about the popular Welsh singer Tom Jones, praying for the chance to meet him. Huston delivers an extremely affecting performance as the title character.
