Movie Description
AAMDANI ATTHANI KHARCHA RUPAIYA is a deceptively breezy Bollywood musical comedy about women's rights and the clash between tradition and modernity. Ravi (Chandrachur Singh), Vijay (Vinay Anand), and Appu (Johnny Lever) are middle-class businessmen who have racked up a lot debts but refuse to allow their wives, Meena (Tabu), Anjali (Isha Koppikar), and Vimla (Ketki Dave), to work. The husbands' old-fashioned ways are soon challenged by the arrival of a forward-thinking young married couple, husband Bhimsha (Govinda) and wife Jhoomri (Juhi Chawla), who move into the neighborhood and encourage the women to work.
