Movie Description During the tumultuous and revolutionary summer of 1969, a devoted New York housewife sets off on her annual vacation with her two children to the Catskills.
Life takes an unexpected turn when she is seduced by a hippie shirt peddler who helps her explore uninhibited sexuality and express free love at Woodstock. She is faced with the difficult decision of returning to her husband and family or continuing her own sexual revolution.
Industry Reviews "...The Catskills community is lovingly drawn....[An] excellent 60's soundtrack..." Caplan
"...Seductive....[A] beautifully acted tale of romance and responsibility...' New York Times - Janet Maslin (03/26/1999)
"...The film's characters are affecting....It's solidly unpretentious and has a good sense of what it wants to accomplish, which is to show that even good people sometimes lose their heads..." USA Today - Mike Clark (03/26/1999)
"...A film of exceptional emotional honesty....[The] film goes right up to the edge, inviting compassion rather than uneasy laughter..." Los Angeles Times - Kevin Thomas (03/26/1999)
