If a person can be judged by the company he or she keeps, then Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly were obviously amazing. The two folk-rock legends made an indelible mark on rock music of the 20th century. On this fantastic release, some of their friends and fans (who are incidentally some of the greatest talents in the music business) come out in force to pay tribute. Through both interviews and performances with such stars as Bruce Springsteen (who does a killer "Vigilante Man"), Bob Dylan ("Song to Woody"), Arlo Guthrie ("Grand Coulee Dam"), Pete Seeger ("Alabama Bound") and more, the lives and music of these two legends are explored and celebrated.
