Synopsis
Journalist Jim Robbins walks the reader through the medical phenomenon of neurofeedback, or brain wave biofeedback, with stories of those whose lives have been changed by it. He tells of the small but dedicated group of scientists who have developed this alternative treatment since its early years in the 1970s, and its use as an alternative to drug treatment in cases of learning disabilities, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, addictions, menopause, and other ailments.
