Synopsis These golfers are not really gentlemen in this novel, but the caddies are--Timmy Price, in particular. Timmy wants to be a professional golfer, and his gifts seem to be pointing him in that direction. But his father wants him to stay humble. He signs the boy up for caddie duty at the local country club and, before long, Timmy is thoroughly disillusioned with the game.

Industry Reviews "Honest to the point of bleakness, but too loosely constructed to be really involving. And yet the talent is unmistakable." Kirkus Reviews (03/01/2001)
