Synopsis Charlie Brown is in over his head when Peppermint Patty invites herself, and several of her friends, over to his house for a Thanksgiving feast. The trouble is, Charlie Brown won't even be home that afternoon because he and his family are going to his grandmother's house for their celebration. Then Linus suggests that Charlie Brown serve an early morning feast to his pals. Feeling the pressure, Charlie Brown agrees and, with the help of his loyal dog Snoopy, he prepares a rather nontraditional celebration. What will Charlie Brown's guests think when he serves them toast, popcorn, and pretzel sticks for their Thanksgiving feast? Color illustrations accompany the text, which is based on the animated television program of the same name.
