Album Notes
Norteno outfit Los Bukis has been going strong since the mid 1970s. The group's take on contemporary Latin pop with an underpinning of traditional Mexican music has yielded a long string of hits, and many of the best of those are collected on the 2006 two-disc compilation 30 RECUERDOS. There are a number of Los Bukis best-of sets available, but the heft and variety of 30 RECUERDOS makes it a great place for newcomers to sample the band's classic sound. Longtime fans needn't worry, however: Los Bukis's much-loved Latin ballads are fully represented.
