Movie Description
Directed by former Black Panther activist Jamal Joseph, 30 DAYS is a tough yet inspirational drama about overcoming racial and class enmity. After a game between rival basketball teams erupts into violence, two very different teens--poor, inner-city black kid Donnell (Hill Harper) and rich, white suburbanite Jason (Charlie Neal)--forge an unlikely friendship when they are sentenced to perform 30 days of community service in each other's neighborhoods. Joseph's gritty indie feature also features a star-studded supporting cast that includes Ellen Burstyn, Taye Diggs, and former rapper Da Brat.
