Movie Description
The VH1 original movie 30 DAYS UNTIL I'M FAMOUS is a satire of the music business whose premise recalls the classic play PYGMALION. Camille Guay (a contestant on the TV show POPSTARS: USA) stars as Maggie Moreno, a working girl who catches the eye of music producer Cole (Sean Patrick Flannery). She has the right look, Cole believes, but she's not sufficiently "ethnic" enough. In order to mold her into the next pop sensation, Maggie undergoes training to become more of a "Latina." Although she seems primed for stardom, is it worth sacrificing her true identity and milking a stereotype to achieve her dream? 30 DAYS UNTIL I'M FAMOUS combines satirical comedy and romance with pop music numbers.
