Movie Description Ohio State's football team surged through the 1968 season, thanks to an incredible group of players--known as the Super Sophomores--that included John Brockington, Leo Hayden, Rex Kern, and Jack Tatum. But in the 1969 Rose Bowl, they faced USC's powerhouse team, led by Heisman Trophy winner O. J. Simpson. Simpson was terrific and the contest was close, but in the end the Buckeyes came together for a dramatic victory that still ranks among Ohio State's all-time greatest.
