George Jones is one of the last great honky-tonk country singers and a national treasure. His voice is smooth and supple, capable of joyous growls, romantic whispers, and dead-of-night despair. 14 GREATS is a collection of Jones' classics and pre-'70s country classics. No recording or copyright dates are provided, but these songs appear to date from the late '70s or the first half of the '80s.
